Volleyball Cruises to 3-0 Win Over Mohawk Valley, Improve to 19-0

The Hudson Valley Community College women's volleyball team remained unbeaten with a decisive 3-0 victory over Mohawk Valley on Friday evening. The Vikings controlled the match from start to finish, taking the sets 25-19, 25-15 and 25-19 to improve to 19-0 on the season.
Jocelyn Caputo paced the offense with 11 kills while adding three digs and two blocks. Brooke Poutre followed with eight kills and a pair of service aces, while Hayden LeFever contributed six kills and four digs. Defensively, Hudson Valley recorded 33 digs and eight block assists, anchored by setter Gabriella Kholstinin, who led the team with six digs while orchestrating the offense.
The Vikings will be back in action on Saturday as they compete in the SUNY Adirondack Pod, where they will take on SUNY Adirondack and SUNY Broome. Hudson Valley looks to extend its undefeated streak and continue its push toward postseason play.
