Tennis Places 2nd at Regional Championship

NJCAA Region 3 Championship: 2nd Place

Hudson Valley's Jocelyn Richter was the Number One Singles Regional Champion. Richter and her partner Katie Ziegler were the Number 1 Doubles Regional Champions at yesterday's tournament! As a result of their Region 3 championships in their respective flights, Richter and Ziegler were both names to the NJCAA Region 3 All-Region Team and the Mountain Valley Conference All-Conference Team. 

Richter and Ziegler garnered All -Region First Team recognition for winning the Regional titles in No. 1 Singles and No. 1 Doubles. Joining them on the All-Region team is Gracemary Baumann, who earned All-Region Second Team after placing runner-up at the No. 5 singles flight. Baumann and Saleha Nayebi were also recognized for their runner-up finish at the No. 3 doubles flight.

Olli Bulmer vs Sarah Davis (Herkimer): 7-6 (10-8), 6-4 (L)

The Vikings head to Chattanooga, TN to compete in the NJCAA Championship on May 9th.
