The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team dropped a road matchup to North Country Community College, 58–42, on Thursday night.
Hudson Valley stayed within striking distance early, trailing 15–8 after the first quarter before responding with an 18–8 second-quarter effort to cut the deficit heading into halftime. The Vikings were unable to sustain that momentum after the break, as North Country pulled away with a strong third quarter to regain control of the contest.
Sanaiya Adams led the Vikings offensively with 12 points, while Samantha Graham added 10 points off the bench. Piper O'Hare chipped in eight points, and Gracemary Baumann contributed six as Hudson Valley shot efficiently from the free-throw line.
Hudson Valley returns home on Saturday, February 7, when they host the Community College of Rhode Island at 1:00 p.m.
