Women's Basketball Falls at Herkimer, 79–64

The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball team suffered a 79–64 road loss to Herkimer College on Tuesday night. The Vikings move to 9–8 overall on the season.
Hudson Valley opened the game strong, trailing just 18–16 after the first quarter, but Herkimer used a big second quarter to take control heading into halftime. The Vikings showed resilience after the break, matching Herkimer point-for-point in both the third and fourth quarters, but were unable to close the gap.
Samantha Graham led the Vikings with 18 points, while Piper O'Hare provided a spark off the bench with 15 points. Sanaiya Adams finished with 10 points, and Lila Christensen and Gracemary Baumann added eight points apiece.
Hudson Valley will look to bounce back as they continue their road stretch, traveling to North Country Community College on Thursday, February 5. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
