The Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball program won its third straight road game and improved to 4-3 on the season after defeating Springfield Tech 73-63, Tuesday evening in Springfield, Mass.
Offensively, the Vikings were led by Nya Ewans-Edmonds and Kathryn Stackrow, who combined to score 57 points and 12 assists. Ewans-Edmonds led all scorers with 34 points and added six assists. Stackrow tallied 23 points to go with her six assists in tonight's win.
Tonight's game kicked off a busy week for the Vikings basketball programs as they play five games in the next nine days. The women's team is off to a great start as they now head back to Troy, NY for a four-game home stand, beginning tomorrow night, December 1, when they welcome Onondaga to the McDonough Sports Complex. The key Region 3 matchup is scheduled to tip at 5 p.m.
