Hudson Valley's women's basketball team (5-2) dropped a close game on the road as Finger Lakes defeated the Vikings 86-81 on Saturday afternoon in Canandaigua, NY.
Caitlin Estes (Scotia/Scotia-Glenville) led four Vikings in double-digit scoring as she finished with 19 points off the bench. Madison Graber (Schenectady/Schalmont) also reached double-digit points off the bench as she finished with 17 points and eight rebounds in just under 20 minutes of game play.
Taylor Engster (Troy/Catholic Central) completed a non-traditional triple-double as she finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 turnovers in 33 minutes of action. Engster shot 8-for-14 from the floor and added three assists and three steals.
Hayley Jones (Catskill/Catskill), in 29 minutes of play, scored 12 points on 5-for-7 from the floor and added five rebounds and two Assists.
Hudson Valley is back in action tomorrow as they travel to play Corning on Sunday for a 12 p.m. start.
