Men's XC Finish Second at NJCAA Region 3 Championship

The Hudson Valley Community College men's cross country team delivered a strong performance at the NJCAA Region 3 Championship on Saturday, finishing second overall in the 8k race behind a pair of top-three individual finishes.
Freshman Alan Arnold continued his standout season, placing second overall with a time of 27:44.47, leading the Vikings to their runner-up finish. Close behind was fellow freshman Michael Kleinman, who secured third place with a time of 29:13.20, giving Hudson Valley two finishers in the top three of the regional field.
Rounding out the scoring runners were Yaseen Osamni (11th, 32:02.82), Kaleb Pettit (17th, 35:06.49), and Landon Horlacher (18th, 35:09.75). The Vikings' depth was further supported by Gavin Vautrin (26th, 42:35.96) and Alex Goodrich (27th, 42:38.14).
The Vikings will now turn their attention to the NJCAA Division III National Championship on Saturday November 8th, where they'll look to continue their momentum on the national stage.
