Vikings Compete at Westfield State James Earley Invitational

The Hudson Valley Community College men's cross country team turned in a gritty performance at the Westfield State James Earley Invitational, finishing 13th overall with a team score of 300 in a deep field of competitors.
The Vikings recorded a total time of 2:27:41 among their top five runners, averaging 29:32 per athlete with a 5:57 spread — a strong display of pack running.
Freshman standout Alan Arnold led the charge once again, placing 17th overall with an impressive 27:06.25 in the 8,000-meter race. He was followed by Michael Kleinman, who crossed in 28:39.52 to finish 51st.
David Rambharose (29:20.44) and Parris Porter (29:31.38) worked well together in the middle of the lineup, finishing 74th and 79th respectively, while Yaseen Osmani rounded out the scoring five with a 33:04.05 finish.
Hudson Valley's depth was further showcased by Landon Horlacher (35:25.86), Kaleb Pettit (38:05.97), Gavin Vautrin (44:08.00), and Judens Rhau (54:19.89), who all gained valuable race experience on the challenging Westfield State course.
