The Hudson Valley Community College men's lacrosse team fell to Genesee Community College, 23-6, on Sunday afternoon.
The Vikings were led offensively by Nathan Stone, who recorded a hat trick in the contest. Romeyn Murray added two assists to help pace the Hudson Valley attack. Additional goals for the Vikings came from Kitson Stover, Josh Whitmore, and Ethan Martin.
Hudson Valley used two goalies in the game, with Kevin Nicoll starting in net and Brayden Cooper seeing time in relief. The Vikings were also assessed several penalties during the contest, as Jake Marsh, Romeyn Murray, Tyler Mack, Zachary Rogers, Jason Herrick, Gabriel D'Angelo, and Bryson Grimes each recorded penalty minutes.
Hudson Valley will return to action on Wednesday, March 11, when the Vikings travel to face Tompkins Cortland Community College at 4:00 p.m.
