Vikings Enter Final Round of NJCAA National Championship in Ninth Place

The Hudson Valley Community College men's golf team completed the third round of the 2026 NJCAA National Championship on Thursday and will enter the tournament's final day in ninth place overall.
The Vikings posted a team score of 333 (+45) during Round 3 and sit at 971 (+107) through 54 holes of competition. With one round remaining, Hudson Valley remains in the top 10 nationally and will look to finish strong on Friday at Chautauqua Golf Club.
Nick Walsh turned in the Vikings' lowest score of the day, carding a 79 (+7). The sophomore recorded pars on 10 holes and sits tied for 50th place overall at 34-over-par through three rounds.
Steve Jordan continued his strong tournament with an 80 (+8) and remains Hudson Valley's top individual performer. Jordan is tied for 20th place at 15-over-par heading into the final round and remains in contention for a top-20 national finish.
Tommy Wall posted an 87 (+15) on Thursday and is tied for 45th place overall at 29-over-par. Wall recorded six pars during his third-round effort.
Will Jennings matched Wall with an 87 (+15), moving into a tie for 59th place at 41-over-par through three rounds. Jennings collected seven pars during his round.
Logan Gilbo rounded out the Viking lineup with a 93 (+21) and is tied for 61st place overall at 44-over-par entering the final day of competition.
The Vikings will conclude their season on Friday with the fourth and final round of the NJCAA National Championship. Gilbo will be the first Hudson Valley golfer on the course, teeing off at 11:36 a.m. as the Vikings look to finish their national tournament run on a high note.
