Vikings Earn Back-to-Back Runner-Up Finishes at Home and Adirondack Invitationals

The Hudson Valley Community College golf team put together an impressive two-day stretch, earning consecutive second-place finishes at the Hudson Valley Invitational and the Adirondack Invitational.
At their home event on April 17, the Vikings delivered a strong showing, finishing second overall with a team score of 304, just four strokes behind Niagara (300). Hudson Valley was led by Stephen Jordan and Tommy Wall, who each carded rounds of 73 to pace the field. Nick Walsh followed with a 76, while Will Jennings added an 82 to round out the scoring four. Ryan Walch (92) and Logan Gilbo (82) also competed for the Vikings.
Carrying that momentum into the following day, Hudson Valley once again finished as runner-up at the Adirondack Invitational with a team score of 326, just six strokes off the top spot (320).
The Vikings showcased their depth and consistency throughout the lineup, led by Stephen Jordan and Will Jennings, who each posted team-low rounds of 80. Nick Walsh followed closely with an 81, keeping Hudson Valley firmly in contention throughout the round. Tommy Wall and Logan Gilbo each contributed scores of 85 to complete the team scoring, while Ryan Walsh (92) and John Pember (100) rounded out the lineup.
The Vikings will look to build on their strong play when they return to the course on Friday, April 24 at the Jamestown Invitational.
