Vikings Post Strong Performances at Herkimer Conference Match

The Hudson Valley Community College Vikings bowling teams turned in another successful day of conference competition at the Herkimer Conference Match, highlighted by strong individual performances and continued momentum from both squads.
The Vikings men's team finished the day with a 5-1 record. In the opening three-game block, Aidan Rutski led the way with a standout 300–739 triple, marking the first 300 game of his career. Aaron Mantello followed closely with a 279–726 triple as the Vikings set the tone early. In the second three-game block, Matt Sajise paced the lineup with a 239–668 triple, while Thomas Quinn added a strong 268–638 triple to help close out the day.
The Vikings women's team remained unbeaten in conference play, finishing 4-0 on the day. Alexis Gaudette led the opening block with a 217–648 triple, followed by Jennifer Doty, who rolled a 244–626 triple. In the second block, Doty again led the Vikings with a 215–588 triple, while Gaudette contributed a 183–538 triple as the team continued its dominant conference run.
The Vikings return home for their next match on February 7 at 1 p.m. at East Greenbush Lanes, looking to continue their strong conference play.
