Hudson Valley Community College women's basketball (15-11) lost their fourth straight game after falling 73-56 to North Country on Monday evening in Saranac Lake, N.Y.
Hayley Jones (Catskill/Catskill) led three Vikings in double-figures as she finished with 14 points. Jones also added four rebounds.
Hannah Kreiger (Brunswick/Tamarac) and Taylor Engster (Troy/Catholic Central) combined to score 24 points as they each totaled 12 points each. Engster added five assists and four steals, while Kreiger grabbed five rebounds and made three 3-point field goals.
For North Country, Bridget Rust led all scorers with 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting, including 5-for-11 from behind the arc.
The women's basketball team is back home for their regular season finale this Wednesday, Feb. 21 as they welcome Fulton-Montgomery to the McDonough Sports Complex at 5 p.m.
